I love fractal patterns. Fractal geometry is a branch of mathematics that allows us to model shapes and motion in nature.  Applying this math to images creates infinitely complex patterns that are self-similar on all scales. I was excited to find that the repetition of the sweeping curve and lines in the image of this carousel makes an intricate design reminiscent of fine lace.
